My Lord,

I have the honour to request Your Lord-

-ship's covering authority for a readjustment of the boundari- -es of Aberdeen Inland Lot No. 1, which involves the aliena-

-tion of certain Crown Land without Public auction.

In connection with the construction of a

new road through Aberdeen village, I propose to grant in exchange for the original lot, which is shown edged grey on the accompanying plan, the new area shown coloured red on the same plan. The two areas are approximately equal in size.

The conditions under which the readjust-

-mant is made are as follows:-

(a). The lease of Aberdeen Inland Lot No. 1 edged grey on plan to be surrendered when required by the Land

officer.

(b). The Lessee to be granted a new Crown Lease, free of cost, for the area shown coloured red on plan, containing about 1 acres, for the unexpired term of the existing lease. The new Crown Lease to be subject to all the covenants and clauses contained in the existing Crown Lease, which is for 999 years from 3rd August, 1857.

(c). Premium nil.

(d). Crow rent to remain unaltered.
